- When my mom was young she enjoyed roller skating and became familiar with the organ music that often played to accompany the skaters. One of her favorite recordings was of the organist, Ken Griffin, playing popular skating tunes like Emile Waldteufel’s famous Skaters Waltz. This arrangement tries to capture the joy of roller skating as captured by organists like Ken Griffin.
