- This most poignant Lenten Hymn uses as its text a great poem on Christ's Passion written by St. Bernard of Clairvaux. I took my three verses to reflect the events of the Triduum; the beauty of Holy Thursday, the passion of Good Friday, and the elation of the Easter Vigil.
